Overview

About This Plant

The 5 TPH Complete Pellet Plant is our largest pre-configured production line, engineered for industrial-scale biomass processing for producers supplying high-volume industrial consumers, power utilities, or international export markets where consistent quality, output reliability, and certifiable pellet specifications are required.

This plant operates as a continuous production facility with automated controls throughout the processing chain. It is suitable for running three-shift operations with significant annual production capacity depending on raw material availability and operational efficiency.

The 5 TPH line is supplied with a complete civil layout plan, electrical single-line diagram, and process flow documentation. Our commissioning team is on-site for the full duration of trial runs and initial production batches.

Best suited for

Large-scale commercial pellet manufacturers
Biomass fuel suppliers to power stations
Export-certified production units
Industrial enterprises replacing fossil fuels at scale
Government-backed biomass energy projects

How it works

Production Process

01

Raw Material Handling

Automated bulk receiving, weighing, and conveyor feeding systems handle large daily biomass volumes with minimal manual handling.

02

Primary Processing

High-capacity hammer mill with variable-speed drive processes diverse biomass types. Magnetic separation removes tramp metal before the mill.

03

Industrial Drying

Multi-pass rotary drum dryer with automated PLC control maintains precise moisture targets regardless of incoming material variability.

04

High-Capacity Pelletisation

Large-format horizontal ring die pellet mills ensure sustained throughput. Die temperature monitoring and automatic lubrication included.

05

Finishing & Dispatch

Industrial cooling, multi-deck screening, and high-speed automatic packing lines prepare finished product for bulk or bagged dispatch.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the annual production capacity of a 5 TPH pellet plant?

Running three shifts with 300 operating days per year, a 5 TPH plant can produce approximately 30,000 to 36,000 tonnes annually. Actual output depends on raw material availability, maintenance schedules, and operating efficiency.

Is a 5 TPH plant suitable for export-grade pellet production?

Yes. The plant is configured to produce pellets meeting common export specifications for bulk density, moisture, fines content, and durability. Multi-deck screening and controlled cooling ensure consistent product grade batch to batch.

What electrical infrastructure is needed for a 5 TPH plant?

Connected load is 430–460 kW. Depending on site conditions, either a 415V three-phase supply with adequate transformer capacity or an 11kV HT connection with dedicated substation is recommended. Our electrical drawings specify requirements site by site.

How is raw material handled at this scale?

The plant uses automated bulk receiving with weighing and conveyor feeding. Magnetic separation removes tramp metal before the hammer mill. This minimises manual handling and protects downstream equipment from damage.

What ongoing support is provided after commissioning?

Operator training is conducted on-site during commissioning. Post-commissioning we remain engaged for process optimisation, troubleshooting, spare parts supply, and die replacement scheduling as production ramps up.
